Dead by Daylight Update 9.2.0 Sinister Grace Adds New Killer and Major Reworks

by Ali Haider

Dead by Daylight’s 9.2.0 Sinister Grace update is one of the largest content drops in recent memory, introducing a brand-new killer, the Krasue, and a new survivor, Vee Boonyasak. The patch delivers fresh gameplay mechanics such as detachable killer forms, the new Leeched status effect, and survivor counters through Glowing Fungus items. Alongside this, the Shape (Michael Myers) receives a complete overhaul with redesigned modes, a new special attack, and reworked add-ons.

Beyond new characters, the update improves quality of life with reduced dead zones, automatic recovery in the dying state, and expanded match details. Balance changes affect both killers and survivors, while multiple perks receive buffs or nerfs. Postponed tunneling and slugging updates were held back for further refinement, leaving players with a massive wave of fresh content to explore.
