Sony Interactive Entertainment and Kojima Productions’ action-adventure game, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, features several celebrity cameos. Here are some of the ones you may have missed.
Director Hideo Kojima’s games usually contain several cameos, and Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is no different. Here, cameos appear in the form of preppers located across the game‘s world, who appear as holograms. We’ve put together a list of prominent celebrities who make an appearance. 1. Mike Flanagan
Mike Flanagan is an American filmmaker renowned for his contributions to the horror genre. His body of work includes directing, writing, producing, and editing films such as Absentia (2011), Oculus (2013), Hush, Before I Wake, Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016), Gerald’s Game (2017), Doctor Sleep (2019), and The Life of Chuck (2024). Flanagan also created and showran several acclaimed horror series on Netflix, including The Haunting of Hill House (2018), Bly Manor (2020), Midnight Mass (2021), The Midnight Club (2022), and The Fall of the House of Usher (2023), often directing and editing episodes himself.
2. Kate Siegel
Kate Siegel, Flanagan’s frequent collaborator and wife, is also part of the game. Known for her significant work in horror cinema and television, Siegel has starred in Oculus (2013), Hush (2016), which she co-wrote, Ouija: Origin of Evil (2016), Gerald’s Game (2017), and The Life of Chuck (2024).
