Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor 1.0 Launches With Escort Duty, Gear System, and Twitch Integration

by Ali Haider

Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor has officially launched into version 1.0, marking the end of Early Access and the beginning of a full release. This update introduces Escort Duty, a mission where players must protect and refuel the Drilldozer B0b-33 as it smashes through rock and enemies toward an Ommoran Heartstone. The new mission requires unique strategies, emphasizing swarm control, objective defense, and careful pacing.

The update also brings major progression changes with the addition of gear, offering new passive bonuses, quirks, and upgrade paths. Save slots, class mod skins, over 300 achievements, and Twitch integration further expand the experience. Alongside these systems, the developers have rebalanced hazard levels, improved mission flow, and refined progression to make 1.0 the most complete and challenging version of the game yet.
