The Festival of the Lost 2025 has returned to Destiny 2, bringing with it a wave of new activities, rewards, and eerie fun for Guardians across the solar system. Running from October 21 to November 4, 2025, this year’s event introduces Haunted Altars, a six-player cooperative activity on the Moon that tasks players with defending against waves of enemies while feeding a monstrous construct before bursting it open for candy and loot. This fresh take on the classic Halloween spirit blends team defense, coordination, and chaos in equal measure.
For players looking for something more competitive, Red Rumble (or “Red Rum(ble)”) offers a thrilling PvP twist where Guardians clash in a six-player free-for-all while hunting Headless Ones for special drops like explosive pumpkins and ammo boosts. Combined with a new lineup of Festival-exclusive weapons, including the Kinetic SMG Gunburn, the Strand bow Hushed Whisper, and the returning Arc shotgun Arcane Embrace, the Festival of the Lost 2025 celebrates Destiny’s spooky season with plenty of treats for all types of players.
