The latest update 1.062 for Diablo IV brings significant improvements to the user interface and overall gameplay experience, with a focus on crafting and rewards. Crafting notifications now clearly indicate the item being crafted, and the Jeweler’s recipes for random Runes are more transparent about the required materials. Tooltips, especially for Runes and Runewords, have been improved for better player understanding. In the Kurast Undercity, successful runs now guarantee Legendary item drops and double gold rewards. Changes to monster health and spawn rates aim to create a more balanced and enjoyable experience during dungeon runs.

Balancing adjustments have been made to various classes, including enhancing the Sorcerer with increased scaling on certain aspects. The patch includes buffs to Mythic Unique items, significantly increasing their stats and life values to make them more competitive in gameplay. New graphical options have been introduced, like a toggle for chromatic aberration and ultra settings for ray tracing reflections, to enhance visual fidelity.

  • Game Updates:

    • Non-Physical damage stat removed from Character Stats window.
  • Combat Updates:
    • Damage numbers are now abbreviated (e.g., 10000 damage displays as 10k).
    • New Nahantu-themed loading screens added.
  • Kurast Undercity Changes:
    • Improved rewards from Kurast Undercity runs, guaranteeing at least 1 Legendary Item drop.
    • Gold drops doubled.
    • Minions with Extra Health monster Affix no longer spawn.
    • Boss health pools reduced for better balance with similar content.
    • Spawn frequency of afflicted super Elites and regular Elites adjusted.
    • Reduced normal monster mobs from Spirit Beacon encounter for objective clarity.
    • Increased starting time for base runs from 100 seconds to 120 seconds.
    • Afflicted regular Elites now grant a 10-second time bonus (up from 8 seconds).
    • Afflicted super Elites now grant a 15-second time bonus (up from 14 seconds).
    • Tribute of Titans can now drop outside boss defeats.
    • Increased drop rate of Rare Tributes throughout the game.
  • Season of Hatred Rising Changes:
    • Realmwalker no longer reduces spawns if only one person is following.
    • Increased max spawns allowed at a time to 20 (previously 15).
    • Base movement speed of Realmwalker increased by 15%.
    • Realmwalker’s movespeed increases by 10% for each wave of Bloodbound Guardians killed.
    • Realmwalker now has a low chance to summon a Treasure Goblin.
    • Removed 1 Hatred Spire from Nahantu’s Ritual phase.
    • Hatred Rising icon removed from the map for improved navigation.
  • Balance Updates:
    • Sorcerer’s Overheating Aspect now scales with Incinerate Skill Ranks.
    • Charged Flash Aspect now scales with Charged Bolts Skill Ranks.
  • Mythic Unique Items Buffs:
    • Doombringer: All Stats increased from 114 to 160.
    • Shattered Vow: Life increased from 444 to 1,200.
    • The Grandfather: Life increased from 662 to 1800; All Stats increased from 150 to 220.
    • Shroud of False Death: Life increased from 222 to 800; All Stats increased from 111 to 160.
    • Nesekem, the Herald: Life increased from 464 to 1200.
    • Harlequin Crest: Life increased from 465 to 800.
    • Andariel’s Visage: All Stats increased from 77 to 110.
  • Tempering Adjustments:
    • Minimum damage values on Legendary Elemental Surge Tempering Affixes increased from 300 to 900.
  • Miscellaneous Updates:
    • New graphics options added:
      • Chromatic Aberration Toggle.
      • Ultra setting for Ray Tracing Reflections.
    • Increased the number of Scrolls of Restoration from Dark Citadel Weekly cache.
      • Torment I: 1-2.
      • Torment II: 2.
      • Torment III: 2-3.
      • Torment IV: 3.
    • Several items re-enabled that were unavailable during Patch 2.0.2.
    • New whisper objective for completing a Dark Citadel wing introduced.
    • New mount trophy added for reaching Paragon 300.
    • Super Elite monsters now drop even more loot (now drop 3 times as much as Elites).
    • Elite monsters with the Waller affix now cast fewer walls (duration reduced from 5 to 3 seconds).
    • Varshan’s barrier gain reduced during summoning and cone wave attack.
