Diablo IV Update 1.92 Fixes Quests, Dungeons, and Seasonal Progression Issues

by Ali Haider

Blizzard Entertainment has deployed Diablo IV update 1.92, addressing a broad range of issues across the base game, the Vessel of Hatred expansion, and Season 9: Sins of the Horadrim. The hotfix resolves quest tracking problems, dungeon progression issues, seasonal reward errors, and ability inconsistencies, alongside stability and performance improvements.

In addition to fixing core gameplay bugs, the update corrects problems specific to Escalating Nightmare dungeons, Horadric rewards, and class-specific abilities such as the Druid’s Wolves not benefiting from certain damage bonuses. This patch follows a larger update earlier in the week and focuses on polishing player experience ahead of ongoing seasonal and expansion content.

Full Patch Notes:

Hotfix Changes:

  • Fixed an issue where Horadric Tomes sometimes did not drop as expected.
  • Fixed an issue with Escalating Nightmares where the Vile Hive dungeon did not escalate if the Agony boss was defeated in a Horadric Strongroom.
  • Fixed an issue where certain quests would randomly stop tracking.
  • Fixed an issue where the Druid’s Wolves did not always gain increased damage from Aspect of the Alpha or the Lust for Carnage Paragon Node while using Storm’s Companion.
