Dispatch is officially coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on January 29, 2026, according to newly published listings on the Australian Nintendo eShop. The store pages confirm release dates for both versions of the game, along with pricing details and a free upgrade path for players moving to the Switch 2 edition.

The Australian eShop lists Dispatch for Nintendo Switch with a planned release date of January 29, 2026. The game is currently available for pre-order at a discounted price of AUD 39.55, reduced from its standard price of AUD 43.95. Alongside this listing, Nintendo has also published a separate page for the Dispatch Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack, which is marked as free and scheduled to launch on the same date.

According to the eShop information, the Nintendo Switch 2 edition includes enhanced resolution and improved frame rates compared to the standard Switch version.

Dispatch is an episodic, narrative-driven superhero workplace comedy developed and published by AdHoc Studio. The studio is made up of former Telltale Games developers, including team members who previously worked on The Wolf Among Us. The game places players in the role of Robert Robertson III, a former superhero known as Mecha Man, whose career is derailed after his powered suit is destroyed. Forced into an office role, he becomes a dispatcher for the Superhero Dispatch Network, coordinating responses to emergencies rather than handling them personally.

Gameplay focuses on cinematic dialogue choices combined with a management layer. Players are tasked with deploying a group of reformed villains, each with their own flaws and abilities, to resolve crises across Los Angeles. The game balances narrative decision-making with strategic planning, shaping outcomes through both story choices and team management.

Dispatch originally launched as an episodic series on PC and PlayStation 5, with the first episode releasing on October 22, 2025, and the full eight-episode season concluding on November 12, 2025. The complete season is now available on those platforms and features a cast that includes Aaron Paul and Jeffrey Wright.
