AdHoc Studio, the developer behind Dispatch, is apparently looking to release the episodic adventure game to Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S.

The development team at AdHoc Studio took to the official Discord server for Dispatch (via hazzadorgamin on Blue Sky) to reveal that the studio is looking into additional platforms for release, likely referring to Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S. “Will the game come to other platforms? Our initial focus will be on supporting the game on Steam & PlayStation. We’re looking into additional platforms as well,” read the official statement.

A few days prior, AdHoc Studio announced that Dispatch, has sold over one million copies worldwide within just ten days of release. The milestone was shared by the studio through its official Blue Sky account, humorously noting, “2 days. 80 million copies sold. Would’ve been nice. We sold 1 Million in 10 days though. Still pretty good.”

The achievement marks a strong debut for AdHoc Studio, a team formed by several former Telltale Games developers renowned for their expertise in narrative-driven titles. Dispatch merges sharp comedic writing with player-driven storytelling, presenting a unique blend of workplace satire and superhero absurdity. The game places players in the role of Robert Robertson, a retired armored hero now relegated to dispatch duty for a team of unpredictable ex-villains. Each decision, whether through branching dialogue or tactical mission assignments, influences both the story’s direction and the fate of the city’s crime-fighting operations.

Dispatch is divided into eight chapters, with the first two launching on October 22, 2025, for PlayStation 5 and Windows PC. Subsequent episodes are scheduled to release in weekly pairs, wrapping up on November 12, 2025. Billed as a “superhero workplace comedy,” the game follows Robert Robertson, a former hero known as Mecha Man, who takes on a new job as a dispatcher for a team of ex-villains turned superheroes after his iconic mechanical suit is destroyed in combat.
