Season 9 of Dragon Ball The Breakers has officially begun, introducing a significant lineup of content changes and gameplay improvements. The most notable addition is the arrival of a new raider, Broly (Z), who begins combat as Paragus with Broly as an assist. Players can now choose to evolve early into Super Saiyan Broly at level 2 or wait for an automatic upgrade to level 3 Broly (Restrained), allowing for a faster and more powerful progression to his final form. This flexible evolution mechanic grants players new strategic depth in shaping Broly’s destructive path through the battlefield.
Alongside Broly, two existing raiders, Cell and Majin Buu, have received impactful updates. Cell gains a new level 4 skill, “Make Them Suffer, Cell Juniors!”, summoning up to seven Cell Jrs that automatically attack enemies, reinforcing his endgame dominance. Meanwhile, Majin Buu now unlocks the Gohan Absorbed form at level 4 by absorbing Super Transpheres. This form maintains Buu’s high-risk gameplay while offering better control and late-game consistency. Season 9 also marks the introduction of a new monthly ranked match and event system for ongoing competitive play.
