Funcom has released hotfix 1.1.20.0 for Dune Awakening, addressing several critical issues that surfaced following the recent major update. This patch requires a client-side download, and players are advised to restart their Steam client if the update does not appear automatically. Server downtime was brief, with services expected to resume shortly.
The update focuses on improving both server and client stability, eliminating stuttering problems on low and medium graphical settings, and fixing the P83 travel error that previously prevented travel and could result in vehicle loss. Players who lost their vehicles due to this bug will have them restored.
This hotfix arrives shortly after the major 1.1.20 patch, which introduced a variety of new features and quality-of-life improvements. Among the highlights were the addition of a Sandbike variant, Desert Mechanic Decorations, and the ability to place pillars between walls. Resource management saw a notable upgrade with new Deposit All Blood and Deposit/Extract All Water functions, while the Solido Replicator was enhanced to support the encoding of placeables and decorations for complete base replication.
Further refinements included an item search function and reorganized categories in The Exchange, as well as adjustments to prevent NPCs from damaging player buildings in PvE zones. The update also featured extensive bug fixes across vehicles, combat, UI, and worldbuilding.
