Dungeon Defenders II has received a Festival of Hearts hotfix that introduces several shop improvements and addresses a range of gameplay and technical issues. One of the notable additions is a new feature in the Emporium that hides items and bundles players already own, helping streamline the browsing experience.
The update also introduces the new Etheria Essentials Pack bundle, while implementing several bug fixes affecting maps, shards, and performance. Various gameplay issues, including incorrect damage types and shard availability, have also been resolved.

Shop
- Added a new Emporium feature that hides bundles and items already owned by the player

- Etheria Essentials Pack receives a 25 percent discount for 24 hours after completing the campaign
- The same 24 hour sale also applies to players who had already completed the campaign prior to the update
Bug Fixes
- Fixed missing enemy schedules for lane spawners on Western Carnival during Chaos 11 Wave 3
- Fixed Defense Upgrades not being properly downgraded by the Protective Downgrade Servo when used with the Physical Wall defense
- Fixed an issue where the Haste Infusion shard negatively impacted server performance
- Fixed a visual issue where the equipment icon did not appear in the Advance UI screen when the item was Ancient
- Fixed an issue preventing the Nimbus Reach map from being playable on consoles
- Fixed the Frostweaver secondary attack using an incorrect damage type
- Fixed Empowered Arcane Mark shard not appearing in the Shard Shop or dropping from Shard Packs
- The shard can now also be used with the Adept hero
Balance Changes
- Reworked Winter’s Edge shard
- Attacks now deal a percentage of Hero Damage as Frost damage
- The effect can trigger once every 0.5 seconds
Dungeon Defenders II released on June 20, 2017. Developed by Chromatic Games, the tower defense action RPG is available on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and it can also be played on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S through backward compatibility.
