Techland has announced Hotfix 1.2.1 for Dying Light The Beast, aimed at resolving two frustrating issues: indoor rain and the disrupted day/night cycle. Both problems have been prioritized by the developers due to their impact on immersion, though they appear only in rare scenarios.
A fix has already been prepared, but additional testing is being carried out through the weekend and into Monday. If no further occurrences of the issue are detected, the hotfix will be released promptly on PC. Should the problems persist, the team will rework the solution and continue testing before release.
Full Patch Notes:
- Fix prepared for indoor rain issue (appears in rare situations)
- Fix prepared for disturbed day/night cycle issue (appears in rare situations)
- Extended testing period ongoing to ensure stability of fixes
- Hotfix planned for PC release once testing confirms resolution
- If issues persist, fixes will be re-adjusted and re-tested before deployment
