Before we delve into the best settings for Dynasty Warriors Origins on PC, make sure you’ve updated your GPU drivers and Windows to their latest respective versions. Additionally, disable or close any unnecessary background applications in order to reduce the CPU overhead as much as possible. As seen in the video above, even at mostly low settings, Dynasty Warriors Origins runs at a highly variable frame rate on Steam Deck that usually hovers in the 40 to 55 fps range, occasionally also dipping into the 30s. In order to run the game with a relatively consistent frame time delivery, set the frame limit to 40 fps on the LCD version of the handheld and 45 fps on the OLED version via the Steam Deck overlay.
