Electronic Arts has launched a new technical playtest for EA Sports FC 26, beginning November 3, 2025. The closed beta invites select players from the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada to test an early build of a future gameplay experience designed to shape upcoming innovations in EA Sports FC.
The company stated that this initiative reflects its ongoing effort to develop the franchise in close collaboration with the community. Since the release of FC 26, EA reports that it has collected more than 730,000 pieces of player feedback through its official portal, Discord servers, and social media channels. This data, according to the publisher, has directly influenced updates and feature development, underscoring the company’s emphasis on community-driven design.
The November playtest is described as the largest of its kind for the EA Sports FC franchise, focusing on early-stage technology, gameplay innovations, and system performance. The test builds on EA’s strategy to engage players earlier in development than before, allowing them to experience pre-release content that may not reflect the final version of the product.
In its official statement, EA clarified that the test is strictly technical and will not include content from EA Sports FC 26. Instead, the early prototype will preview a new, “world-based football experience,” which is expected to influence future installments of the franchise. Participants are bound by non-disclosure agreements, preventing the sharing of gameplay footage or test data publicly.
Eligible players who previously signed up for EA Playtesting have received invitations for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms. Testing will evaluate server performance, feature stability, and social gameplay systems, areas that EA has identified as central to its next-generation approach.
The company reaffirmed its continued support for EA Sports FC 26, stating that multiple studios are actively developing new content updates and gameplay improvements based on player input. Upcoming updates are expected to be detailed in the “FC Feedback November Update,” which will outline planned gameplay adjustments and new seasonal features.
Players interested in future testing opportunities can register for EA Playtesting through the company’s official website. Meanwhile, EA Sports FC 26 remains available across PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC, Amazon Luna, and via EA Play.
