In its review for Donkey Kong Bananza, Edge called it a generational leap and a reimagining of a genre. According to them, Nintendo has made something uniquely enjoyable, while wantonly shredding the playbook in the process.
Meanwhile, the review for Wuchang: Fallen Feathers stated that there is little the game has to offer that should deter the Souls veteran in search of a new challenge to add to the ever-growing pile. That said, according to them, it does a commendable job of draping the Soulslike in eastern garments.
As for the Killing Floor 3 review, Edge pointed out that many of its newest tweaks don’t add up to very much. According to them, a narrative system that has players selecting specific levels to complete simple story objectives doesn’t conjure the kind of playing-against-the-design chaos that a similar system does in Fortnite, largely because the scope of the game and the scale of the maps are much smaller here. That said, they added that there are decent bones here, and it’ll be up to the designers to flesh them out.
