FromSoftware has announced upcoming adjustments for Elden Ring Nightreign’s Deep of Night mode. The update will temporarily fix the issue preventing Depth level progression after victories, ensuring player rankings advance as intended.
Alongside this fix, quality of life improvements will make progression more balanced. These include a new voluntary rank decrease option, rank demotion protection at higher Depth levels, safeguards for low-level players during mixed expeditions, and improved Steam session stability during server outages.
