Team Soda has released Update v1.0.28 for Escape From Duckov, focusing on improving player feedback, fixing critical issues, and refining balance mechanics across several gameplay systems. Among the most notable additions is a new injury indicator, providing clear visual feedback when the player is hurt, along with the ability to dismantle Orange Headphones for parts. The update also introduces environmental changes, including a new construction site within the base to prevent players from getting trapped in enclosed areas.
Balance adjustments include a reduction in Storm Creature damage, removal of dog footsteps for better audio clarity, and adjustments to Energy and Hydration values from certain consumables. Other refinements improve overall immersion and performance, such as reduced durability loss for various ammunition types, new item drop chances for Mad Bombers, and a new “Shatter” effect applied by the Storm? monster. Additionally, the patch includes multiple technical fixes that address lag issues, crafting errors, and weapon attachment losses.
