THQ Nordic’s 2025 Digital Showcase wrapped up with tons of announcements, new trailers, and updates we’ve been waiting forever for. Covering big franchise comebacks and brand new games, the event gave us a really good look at what the publisher has coming up.

SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide
A new 3D platformer from Purple Lamp, this adventure sees SpongeBob and Patrick take on a ghostly crisis triggered by a clash between King Neptune and the Flying Dutchman. Players can switch between characters, explore iconic locations, and battle supernatural foes.
Wreckreation
Billed as a massive open-world racing sandbox, Wreckreation allows players to build tracks, alter weather, design vehicles, and more in a 400 km² environment. Developed by ex-Burnout creators, the game emphasizes creativity and competitive fun.
Tides of Tomorrow
Set in a flooded world called Elynd, this story-driven game centers on exploration, resource collection, and branching narratives. What sets it apart is its real-time shared world impact, where players’ choices influence each other’s stories.
Wreckfest 2
The chaotic demolition racer returns with upgraded physics, vehicle destruction, mod support, and adaptive career modes. Developed by Bugbear, Wreckfest 2 is entering Early Access with expanded arenas and matchmaking.
Sacred 2 Remaster
The cult-favorite ARPG returns with enhanced visuals, rebalanced combat, and full controller support. This remastered edition includes all original expansions and revives the fantasy world of Ancaria.
The Eternal Life of Goldman
A hand-animated 2D platformer with dark fairytale themes, this visually striking game tasks players with hunting down an unseen Deity across mysterious islands.
Titan Quest II – Early Access Now Available
Titan Quest II enters Early Access, featuring mythological monsters, a class mastery system, dynamic combat, and handcrafted environments. Set in ancient Greece, players will battle the Goddess Nemesis and shape their hero’s destiny.
The Guild – Europa 1410
Inspired by Europa 1400, this historical sim brings players into the heart of medieval politics and business. Manage a dynasty through trade, alliances, and espionage in a dynamic 12-player environment.
Gothic 1 Remake
THQ Nordic showcased new footage of the long-anticipated Gothic 1 Remake, bringing the dark fantasy RPG into the modern age with enhanced visuals and expanded content. A demo of the Nyras Prologue is available now.
REANIMAL
From the developers behind Little Nightmares, REANIMAL is a stylized horror adventure centered around two siblings navigating a cursed island to find their friends. It supports both solo and co-op play.
Fatekeeper
A new first-person action RPG focused on high-stakes melee combat and tactical spellcasting. Players will traverse ancient ruins and enchanted forests in a deeply customizable journey shaped by narrative choices.
Darksiders 4
The showcase concluded with the long-awaited announcement of Darksiders 4. The new entry continues the saga of the Four Horsemen, featuring cinematic combat, mythic boss battles, and large-scale world exploration.
With a solid mix of sequels, remasters, and brand new games, THQ Nordic’s 2025 showcase showed that the publisher has big plans across different types of games and platforms. Whether you love classic RPGs or you’re into action games, this year’s event had something for pretty much everyone.
