Everything Coming to HBO Max in March 2026

by Greg Martin

HBO Max is adding a substantial mix of new shows, films, documentaries, and returning series throughout March 2026. The month features several high-profile premieres, including new HBO Original series, major film releases, and a wide catalog of classic and modern titles joining the streaming library. The service continues to expand its lineup with both scripted entertainment and nonfiction programming.

Among the most notable debuts is the HBO Original limited series DTF St. Louis, which launches at the beginning of the month and unfolds weekly across seven episodes. The story centers on a complicated love triangle involving three middle-aged adults whose lives spiral into tragedy. The cast includes Jason Bateman, David Harbour, Linda Cardellini, Richard Jenkins, Joy Sunday, Arlan Ruf, Peter Sarsgaard, and Chris Perfetti.

Another key release is the HBO Original comedy series Rooster, which premieres on March 8. The series stars Steve Carell and follows the strained and often humorous relationship between a writer and his daughter on a college campus. Later in the month, HBO also brings back the cult comedy The Comeback for its third and final season, marking a return nearly a decade after the previous installment aired.

New documentaries will also arrive in March, including Fukushima: A Nuclear Nightmare, which examines the catastrophic events following the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan, and Born to Bowl, a five-part series that takes viewers inside the professional bowling circuit. On the film side, HBO Max will debut the comedy spoof Fackham Hall as well as the action film From the World of John Wick: Ballerina starring Ana de Armas.

Below is the full list of titles scheduled to arrive on HBO Max during March.

What Is Leaving HBO Max in March

HBO Max did not announce any titles leaving the platform for March at the time of writing.

As streaming platforms continue to rotate their libraries, HBO Max appears to be leaning into a mix of originals and recognizable film franchises this month. Between the debut of new series, the arrival of the Spider-Man films, and the premiere of the John Wick spinoff Ballerina, March offers a fairly packed schedule. In short, there is a lot to sift through, which may not be a bad problem to have if you are searching for something new to watch.
