A decade has passed since players first emerged from Vault 111 and stepped into the irradiated expanse of Boston, and Bethesda is marking the occasion with the release of the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition. This reimagined package serves as the most complete version of the game to date, bundling every major expansion, hundreds of Creation Club additions, and several all-new items and stories to rediscover across the Commonwealth. Whether you are returning to an old save or venturing into the Wasteland for the first time, this release ensures that every journey feels richer and more unpredictable than ever before.
The Anniversary Edition includes the base game, all six official add-ons, and over 150 curated Creation Club items designed to elevate gameplay and customization. Longtime fans will recognize expansions such as Far Harbor, Automatron, and Nuka-World, while the inclusion of Contraptions Workshop, Vault-Tec Workshop, and Wasteland Workshop provides creative players with more opportunities to shape their settlements. For those who already own Fallout 4, Bethesda has made the upgrade process simple—existing players can purchase the Anniversary Edition Upgrade to gain full access to the additional content. Meanwhile, those who own the Game of the Year Edition can pick up the Creations Bundle separately, offering direct access to the new material through the in-game Creations menu, which is now available for all versions of the game following a free update on November 10.
Among the many highlights of this release are nine brand-new Creations, each expanding the lore and offering new gear or aesthetic choices. These include the Institute Plasma Weapons, which feature three experimental plasma firearms; the Ion Gun, a devastating energy weapon built by Poseidon Energy; and the Bunker Home Pack, a collection of customizable homes ranging from rustic shelters to opulent retreats. Players can also recruit the Cyber Dog, a cybernetic companion capable of responding to over a hundred different names, or unravel the mysteries of the Sea Scavengers, a new quest line introducing a 12.7mm submachine gun and a unique outfit set. Other additions include Brahmin Armor for settlement defense, the Railroad’s Clandestine Couture stealth attire, Repurposed Power Armor Helmets, and new paint jobs such as the Pitt Raider, Air Force, Scorched Sierra, and Inferno designs.
Returning players will also find dozens of popular Creation Club favorites bundled into the Anniversary Edition. These include the Anti-Materiel Rifle, Tesla Cannon, Enclave Remnants, and Chinese Stealth Armor, among many others. The collection also delivers a staggering variety of aesthetic customization, from weapon and armor paint schemes to Pip-Boy skins and decorative settlement packs like Coffee and Donuts Workshop and Home Décor Workshop. Animal lovers can adopt a range of canine companions—Labradors, Huskies, Rottweilers, and more—while creative builders can explore the Virtual Workshop series, enabling new environmental backdrops like the Atomic Crater or GNR Plaza.
In addition to the paid content, Bethesda is celebrating the anniversary with several free Creation Club items for all Fallout 4 players. These include crossover items from other Bethesda franchises such as Morgan’s Space Suit, the Doom Classic Marine Armor, Doom BFG, Quake Thunderbolt, and the Fantasy Hero Set. These pieces will be available to claim beginning November 10.
Finally, the Anniversary Edition introduces new official Creations, with the debut of Tale of the Beast Hunter by Hobgoblin Studios. This narrative-driven addition tasks players with uncovering the story of the Beast Hunter and his terrifying companion, Bessy the Deathclaw. It comes complete with new weapons, armor, and a player home known as The Bar—a Mojave-inspired refuge that pays homage to Fallout: New Vegas.
With an abundance of classic content, brand-new items, and future Creation Club releases promised, Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition stands as the most expansive and versatile version of Bethesda’s beloved RPG yet. For those eager to return to the Commonwealth, there has never been a better time to rebuild, explore, and survive.
