Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Update 1.2.0 Adds Andy Bogard, New Outfits, and Training Mode Enhancements

by Ali Haider

SNK has released update version 1.2.0 for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, delivering a wide range of new content and system refinements. The highlight of this update is the addition of Andy Bogard as a playable character, bringing a technical ninjutsu-based fighting style that emphasizes projectiles, anti-air maneuvers, rushdown techniques, and invincibility attacks. Players can expect a complex and tactical playstyle rich with shinobi-themed abilities.

Further content includes five new uniform variations and an event collaboration with the upcoming Esports World Cup (EWC), introducing unique visuals across various in-game elements such as versus screens and training stages. The EWC event begins July 10 in Riyadh, and related content will remain available throughout the tournament period. The Training Mode has also undergone substantial improvements, offering deeper customization options, refined dummy behaviors, and enhanced display features. Additionally, updates to the EOST mode introduce story scene replays and new battle rules focused on the Just Defense mechanic, with more characters expected to adopt this feature in future updates.

This patch also resolves numerous bugs and introduces general gameplay adjustments, such as reduced input recognition windows for character moves and fixes for move execution and wakeup rolls. Anti-cheating measures have been reinforced to target illegal copies and unauthorized external tools, with penalties that include account suspension. Other improvements cover the game’s user interface, control scheme settings, and Jukebox music additions, including several new tracks themed around the Fatal Fury series.
