Square Enix’s upcoming action role-playing game, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, will offer a brand new “dynamic” difficulty setting.
The Japanese PlayStation Blog (image source)has been updated with new information on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, including new characters, summons, battle details, and a a brand new dynamic difficulty setting. As per the details shared by the blog post, the game will feature three difficulty settings, including ‘Easy‘, which lets you enjoy the story without any notable hurdles, the ‘Normal’ setting, and the newly added ‘Dynamic’ setting, which automatically adjusts the enemy’s difficulty based on your skill level.
The development team encourages players to opt for the dynamic difficulty setting if they enjoy the “thrill of the fight”. The inclusion of this new setting is likely a step towards making the game more accessible to a wider audience while still offering a challenging experience based on individual skill level.
As was the case in Final Fantasy VII Remake, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will include an ‘Action’ and ‘Classic’ mode for combat. In ‘Action’ mode, players can experience battles in real-time while strategically using the ATB gauge to trigger special character actions. In ‘Classic’ mode, actions are performed automatically, allowing you to focus on the tactics of battle commands using the ATB gauge.
Previously, it was revealed that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will offer the choice of Graphics and Performance modes, and the game’s open world is inspired by the one seen in Final Fantasy XV.
