The latest update for Final Fantasy XIV, Patch 7.3 titled The Promise of Tomorrow, brings the Dawntrail main scenario to a close with a fresh set of main quests centered around the city of Alexandria. This update also introduces the second part of the Echoes of Vana’diel alliance raid, a new trial encounter, and the launch of a unique treasure dungeon known as Vault Oneiron. Enhancements such as new chat bubbles and a portrait mode in group pose add further polish to the overall player experience.
Additional gameplay refinements have also been included, such as updates to PvP’s Crystalline Conflict with the Bayside Battleground map, new furnishings from the FFXIV Furnishing Design Contest, and expanded subaquatic voyage content. Several future content additions, including Cosmic Tools, deep dungeons, and more Hildibrand sidequests, are scheduled for upcoming minor patches 7.31 and 7.35.
