Microsoft has confirmed that five titles will be leaving Xbox Game Pass on November 15, marking another rotation in the platform’s regularly shifting content lineup. Among the departing games are some notable releases, including S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl and Frostpunk, both of which have been key attractions for players drawn to atmospheric, survival-oriented gameplay experiences.

The full list of titles leaving the service includes Blacksmith Master, Football Manager 2024, Frostpunk, Spirittea, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Each of these games will be removed from both the PC and console versions of Game Pass, except Blacksmith Master, which is currently available only on PC. Players wishing to keep these titles can purchase them at a discount before their removal date through Microsoft’s standard Game Pass retention offer.

Blacksmith Master, developed by Untitled Studio and published by Hooded Horse, is a medieval management simulation that tasks players with overseeing every aspect of a blacksmith’s workshop—from mining raw ore and gems to forging weapons, tools, and jewelry. Released into Early Access on May 15, 2025, the game has been praised for its intricate crafting systems and management depth.

Another major departure is Football Manager 2024, the acclaimed entry in Sports Interactive’s long-running management series published by SEGA. The title allows players to build and manage football clubs across various leagues, controlling everything from tactics to player transfers. The 2024 edition introduced a unique save transfer feature, allowing continuity from the previous installment—a first for the franchise.

Frostpunk, developed and published by 11 Bit Studios, will also be leaving the subscription. The acclaimed survival city-builder challenges players to govern the last city on Earth during a catastrophic ice age. Its sequel, Frostpunk 2, launched for PC in September 2024 and is set to arrive on consoles in late 2025, making the original’s removal timely as the series transitions into a new era.

Also departing is Spirittea, a cozy, life-simulation RPG developed by Cheesemaster Games and published by No More Robots. Inspired by Stardew Valley, the game transports players to a small, spirit-filled town where they run a mystical bathhouse to help restless spirits find peace. Since its release in November 2023, Spirittea has been recognized for its relaxing gameplay and heartfelt narrative.

The most high-profile title on the list, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, is an ambitious open-world survival shooter from Ukrainian studio GSC Game World. Set within the irradiated Chornobyl Exclusion Zone, it offers a grim, immersive narrative filled with deadly anomalies, hostile mutants, and human factions vying for control. The game first launched on PC and Xbox Series X|S in November 2024 and is scheduled to release on PlayStation 5 later this month, on November 20, 2025.

Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft’s flagship subscription service, remains one of the most comprehensive offerings in the gaming industry, giving players access to hundreds of titles across multiple platforms with new games added monthly. The Ultimate tier, priced at $29.99 per month following its recent price adjustment, includes console and PC access, EA Play, cloud streaming, and Ubisoft+ Classics integration.

While the loss of several acclaimed games may disappoint subscribers, the continuous rotation of Game Pass ensures that new experiences are always on the horizon. As Microsoft prepares for another wave of additions later this month, players are encouraged to dive into these departing titles before they leave the service on November 15.
