Fortnite x KPop Demon Hunters Crossover Brings New Skins, Demon Rush Mode, and More

by Ali Haider

Epic Games has unveiled the first wave of Fortnitemares 2025, starting with a crossover event featuring Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters. Launching on October 2, the update introduces new character skins, themed weapons, and a limited-time mode that goes beyond cosmetics.

The centerpiece of the collaboration is Demon Rush, a KPop-inspired spin on the Horde Rush mode. Players will battle waves of enemies in a special themed setting, with new tools and items to help turn the tide. These include Rumi’s Empowered Sword, Zoey’s Golden Bubble Shield, Mira’s X-tra Spicy Ramyeon consumable, and the Derpy Teleporter Mask, which allows quick movement across the battlefield. The mode will be playable in Battle Royale, Blitz, and Reload.

On the cosmetic side, the KPop Demon Hunters Bundle brings three new outfits — Rumi, Mira, and Zoey — each paired with a Ramyeon backbling and a unique weapon: Rumi’s Sa-In-Geom, Mira’s Gok-Do, and Zoey’s Shin-Kal. Players will also be able to equip emotes like Golden, How It’s Done, and Zoey’s Thumbs Up.

This collaboration marks one of the more content-rich crossovers in Fortnite’s history, as it combines themed gameplay with a full cosmetic set. The release was teased earlier by leakers, with Epic confirming the details via an official trailer today.

The KPop Demon Hunters crossover is only the beginning of Fortnitemares 2025. A second wave is scheduled to arrive on October 9, introducing more collaborations with popular horror franchises. Rumored inclusions point toward Ghostface, Jason Voorhees, Scooby Doo, and even the Terrifier series, though Epic has yet to make official announcements.
