Four Games Leaving PS Plus in March 2026

Sony is set to remove four titles from the PlayStation Plus Extra catalog in March 2026, according to listings spotted on the Japanese PlayStation Network. While regional variations can occur, the lineup is typically consistent across territories. The games scheduled to leave the service are Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy, R-Type Final 3 Evolved, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, and Cris Tales.

  • Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation Code Fairy (PS4)
  • R-Type Final 3 Evolved (PS4)
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge (PS4, PS5)
  • Cris Tales (PS4)

Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy, originally added to PS Plus Extra on March 18, 2025, delivers a single-player narrative set during the One Year War. Players follow the Noisy Fairy unit through tactical mecha combat scenarios that emphasize coordination and character development. Unlike the multiplayer-focused entries in the broader franchise, this installment offers an episodic structure centered on story progression and squad dynamics.

R-Type Final 3 Evolved joined the service on April 16, 2024. The side-scrolling shooter refines the long-running series with enhanced environmental detail and modernized visual effects. Precision remains central to its design, with tightly constructed levels that reward memorization and technical mastery. Its iterative improvements leverage current hardware while preserving the core identity of the franchise.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge has been available since June 20, 2023. The arcade-inspired beat ’em up modernizes classic side-scrolling combat with fluid animation and expanded combo systems. Supporting up to six-player local cooperative play, the title emphasizes fast-paced action and a nostalgic presentation rooted in the franchise’s earlier era.

Cris Tales, added on February 21, 2023, rounds out the departing lineup. The role-playing game features a distinctive Time Mage mechanic that splits the screen into past, present, and future perspectives, allowing players to witness the impact of their choices in real time. Combined with its hand-drawn art style, the system gives the game a unique visual and mechanical identity.

Subscribers have until the middle of March to access these titles before they leave the PS Plus Extra catalog.
