Game Builder Garage Update 1.1.1 Fixes Nintendo Switch 2 Compatibility Issue

Nintendo has released Version 1.1.1 for Game Builder Garage, addressing system functionality issues when running the game on the Nintendo Switch 2 console. This patch ensures smoother performance and stability for players using the new hardware. The same update has also been applied to the demo version of the game.

This follows the previous major update (Version 1.1.0) that introduced optimizations for Switch 2, including improved visuals, support for Joy-Con 2 mouse controls, and adjustments for enhanced processing speed. Players should note that some behaviors in previously created games may differ slightly due to these improvements.

  • Fixed issues with system functionality when playing using a Nintendo Switch 2 console.

Version 1.1.0 (Released June 3, 2025):

  • Visuals optimized for Nintendo Switch 2 display and high-resolution TVs for improved image quality.
  • Added support for Joy-Con 2 mouse controls (up to 8 Joy-Con 2 can be used).
  • Continued support for 1 USB mouse as before.
  • Adjusted behavior of some games created on the original Nintendo Switch due to improved processing speed.
  • Demo Version updated to include the above content (Ver. 1.1.0).
