The Coalition has confirmed that Gears of War E-Day has officially gone gold ahead of its October launch. The studio has also revealed the game’s complete PC specifications, while pre-install will begin on September 29.
Gears of War E-Day will enter Early Access on October 1 before its full launch on October 6. The game will be released on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Steam, with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members able to access it from October 6.
Pre-install begins September 29 at 8am Pacific Time, or 15:00 UTC, across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, and Steam. Premium Edition owners can start playing on October 1, up to five days before the worldwide launch.
The Coalition has also detailed the PC features available at launch, including NVIDIA DLSS 4.5, AMD FSR 4, Intel XeSS 3.0, hardware ray-traced reflections, shadows and global illumination, a built-in benchmark mode, advanced PC settings, HDR support and ultrawide monitor support.
The studio says it has continued working on PC stability and performance since the Multiplayer Open Beta in July, with the final specifications covering a range of hardware configurations.

The Coalition notes that a graphics card with hardware ray tracing support is required, and GPUs without dedicated hardware ray-tracing support are not supported. Actual performance can vary depending on hardware, graphics settings, background tasks and the selected super-resolution technology.
