Sucker Punch Productions and Nixxes Software have released Patch 8 for Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PC, marking a major milestone for portable players—the singleplayer campaign is now officially Steam Deck Verified. Alongside this certification, the update introduces a Steam Deck-specific graphics preset and numerous user interface improvements designed to optimize the experience on Valve’s handheld platform. The patch also updates AMD FSR to version 3.1.4, improves performance, and addresses several crash and stability issues reported by players.
In addition, Ghost of Tsushima’s acclaimed Online Multiplayer Legends Mode has been separated into its own free Steam DLC for those who own the Director’s Cut. Existing owners will retain full access automatically, while new players will simply need to activate the free DLC once. Legends mode still requires a PlayStation Network account for online play. These adjustments, combined with a range of bug fixes and optimizations, continue the game’s post-launch improvements on PC.
