Sucker Punch Productions has released Update 1.010 for Ghost of Yotei on PlayStation 5, bringing a substantial list of performance fixes and mission-related bug resolutions. This update primarily focuses on improving stability, correcting rare crash scenarios, and addressing several permanent mission-blocking bugs reported since launch. Additionally, the update fixes a key issue preventing Digital Deluxe Edition owners from receiving the Black Ghost Mask reward after completing the quest “To Catch a Spider.”
The patch further refines gameplay consistency by repairing broken quest progression triggers in major story missions such as “Fighting Fire with Fire,” “The Way of the Kusarigama,” and “The Tale of the Oni.” Sucker Punch also replaced a missing environmental asset and corrected minor AI and respawn behaviors that caused players to become stuck or soft-locked. This update follows a series of post-launch patches aimed at ensuring smoother performance and a more reliable quest flow across the game’s expansive open world.
