Update 1.511 for Ghost of Yōtei introduces several improvements aimed at refining gameplay systems and addressing technical issues. The patch enhances the leaderboard interface with additional information and introduces a timer showing how long players have to submit scores.
Alongside interface changes, the update includes numerous bug fixes and gameplay adjustments affecting weapons, abilities, and mission visibility. Players will also notice improvements to audio, haptic feedback, and responsiveness during combat and cooperative gameplay.

General
- Introduced more information to the leaderboards screen
- Added the active Challenge Cards for the selected leaderboard
- Added a timer indicating how long remains to enter a score on the leaderboard
- Fixed an issue where the Shinobi mask was overlaid with other cosmetic items
- Players can now re equip various default cosmetics or emotes after unequipping them
- Quickplay for Survival missions is now unlocked by default
- Implemented various bug fixes and stability improvements
- Fixed a bug where background music would cut off under certain gameplay conditions
- Fixed an animation issue when killed by Onibi

- Significantly reduced Ultimate Gain for True Aim Yumi
- Adjusted melee targeting on Jufu
- Fixed a bug where Shadow Flame Arrow sometimes did not ignite targets
- Improved revive targeting for downed teammates
- Fixed an issue where players could lose control functionality after interacting with a Teru Teru Bozu
- Additional audio and haptic adjustments for player and enemy behavior
Ghost of Yōtei launched on October 2, 2025, for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro.
