Sucker Punch has released update 1.600 for Ghost of Yōtei, bringing a substantial set of changes to Legends mode alongside preparations for the upcoming raid. The update introduces new gear, challenge cards, and lobby improvements, while also refining navigation and addressing several interface issues.
On the gameplay side, this patch delivers a wide range of balance adjustments, particularly targeting Samurai and Archer classes, enemy behaviors, and Spirit gain systems. A number of bug fixes and performance improvements have also been implemented, ensuring a more stable and polished multiplayer experience.

Samurai Adjustments
- Slightly reduced cooldown of Samurai class abilities
- Slightly increased duration of Samurai class abilities
- Increased Stagger Damage for Samurai
- Samurai now gains additional Spirit and Ultimate when staggering enemies
- Improved healing effectiveness for Samurai
Enemy and Encounter Changes
- Oni Summoners no longer spawn in Snake Boss fight
- Oni Lords now spawn in Snake Boss fight
- Corruption zones despawn when Oni Summoners are defeated
- Reduced number of attuned enemies in Hidden Temple
- Reduced Jufu health
- Improved enemy visibility in Snake missions
- Improved visibility of Corruption Zones
- Reduced damage penalty when attacking attuned enemies
- Fixed issue where Oni boss could become unkillable
Archer and Ranged Adjustments
- Reduced ammo returned by Resupply and Archer’s Supplies
- Reduced ammo returned during Empowered Hunt
- Reduced headshot damage for True Aim Yumi and tanegashima
- Archer’s Consuming Flame no longer grants Spirit and Ultimate charge
- Significantly reduced Spirit gain from True Aim Yumi disarm arrows
- Reduced Spirit gain from Skipping Stone Bow

Weapons and Perks
- Legendary Spirit Kunai kills from status effects now reduce cooldowns

- Reduced additional caltrops charges from Deep Bags
- All Risky Parry counter attacks now count as Counter Attacks
- Odachi Bulwark Stance now counts as a Counter Attack
- Fixed exploit with Shinobi Shadow Strike allowing unintended extra attacks
- Reduced cases of players getting stuck after using Shinobi Shadow Strike
- Added sprint during Shinobi Shadow Strike ultimate
- Fixed Group Assassination feat not unlocking correctly
