Coffee Stain North has outlined its plans for the Goat Simulator franchise during its Goat Direct 2026 presentation, revealing a mix of new content, platform updates, and crossover events for Goat Simulator 3. The showcase, held on April 1, included announcements ranging from a new gear pack to a Nintendo Switch 2 release and multiple collaborations.
One of the headline additions is the Buck to the Future gear pack, which introduces a set of futuristic-themed items to the game. The DLC includes 22 new pieces of gear alongside a RoboCock goat skin, with gameplay elements that allow players to manipulate gravity, enlarge non-playable characters, and experiment with portal-based mechanics. The pack is available now across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch 2 platforms.
The presentation also confirmed that Goat Simulator 3 has launched on Nintendo Switch 2. The release includes support for both local and online cooperative play, as well as a GameShare feature that enables players to share access with others over a local wireless connection. Existing Nintendo Switch owners who already have the digital version can upgrade at a 70% discount, while additional downloadable content remains available separately.
Coffee Stain North also detailed a crossover with WHAT THE CAR? on Apple Arcade. The collaboration will see the titular car appear in Goat Simulator+, while Pilgor will become a playable character in WHAT THE CAR?. Both additions will be available for a limited period from April 30 to May 27.
Elsewhere, the Goat Simulator themed A Goat outfit has returned to the Fortnite in-game store for a limited time, remaining available until April 3. Additional updates include confirmation of an Unreal Engine 5 upgrade for Goat Simulator 3, as well as DLC releases planned for Amazon Luna. The developer also noted that Pilgor will be featured in the Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition 2026.
The showcase also included community-focused elements, such as the announcement of winners from a fan art challenge celebrating the franchise’s 12th anniversary. According to Coffee Stain North, more updates and content are planned in the coming months as the series continues to expand across platforms and collaborations.
