Gran Turismo 7 Patch 1.62 Brings Four New Cars

Polyphony Digital is bringing 3 new cars to Gran Turismo 7 in update 1.62 next week on August 29, 2025, and here are the patch notes.

According to the Gran Turismo series creator Kazunori Yamauchi, update 1.62 for Gran Turismo 7 is planned to arrive next week on August 29, 2025, starting 10 PM PT​, and it will add 4 new cars to the game. He has teased the update with the usual image that reveals silhouettes of the cars, encouraging diehard fans to guess their make and model. Thus, we’ve put together a list of cars that we believe may be the ones added to the game in the coming update.

1. Cars
– The following four cars have joined the lineup.
・AFEELA 1 ’26 (sold in Brand Central)
・Chevrolet Corvette CX Concept ’25 (sold in Brand Central)
・Chevrolet Corvette CX.R Vision Gran Turismo Concept (sold in Brand Central)
・Renault Avantime 3.0 V6 24V ’02 (sold in Brand Central and at the Used Cars dealership)

2. World Circuits
 - The following new events are now included in World Circuits:
・Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
– World Touring Car 900
・Circuit de Sainte-Croix B Reverse
– European Sunday Cup 400
・Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta
– Japanese 4WD Challenge 600

3. Café
– The following Extra Menu has been added:
・Extra Menu No.47: Collection: Japanese Racing Pioneers (Collector Level 33)

– We added new sets of conversations with the characters appearing in the Café. These new conversations can be accessed by changing to the following cars in the Garage and speaking with the following characters in the Café.

GT7 was developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It was released on March 4, 2022, exclusively for PS4 and PS5.
