Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.67 Brings Three New Cars

Polyphony Digital is bringing 3 new cars to Gran Turismo 7 in update 1.67 next week on January 30, 2025, and here are the patch notes.

According to the Gran Turismo series creator Kazunori Yamauchi, update 1.67 for Gran Turismo 7 is planned to arrive next week on January 30, 2025, starting 10 PM PT​, and it will add 8 new cars to the game. He has teased the update with the usual image that reveals silhouettes of the cars, encouraging diehard fans to guess their make and model. Thus, we’ve put together a list of cars that we believe may be the ones added to the game in the coming update.

Main Features

1. Cars
– The following cars have joined the lineup.

  • Porsche 911 GT3 R (992) ’22
  • Xiaomi SU7 Ultra ’25
  • Hyundai Elantra N TC ’24

2. Café / Extra Menus

– The following Menu will be added to the Extra Menus section:

  • Extra Menu No. 52: ‘Hyundai N‘ (Collector Level 58 and above)

3. World Circuits

– The following new events have been added to ‘World Circuits’:

  • World Touring Car 600 – Nürburgring Nordschleife
  • World Touring Car 700 – Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps
  • World Touring Car 800 – Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit

4. Scapes

– ‘California Roadsides’ has been added as a featured Curation in Scapes.

GT7 was developed by Polyphony Digital and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. The eighth entry in the Gran Turismo series was released on March 4, 2022, exclusively for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. It takes advantage of the current-gen console’s improved processing, ray-tracing capability, custom solid-state drive storage, Tempest Engine, and DualSense controller to deliver features like advanced haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, ray traced reflections during replays on base hardware and in-game on the PS5 Pro, 3D spatial audio, and faster loading times. Gran Turismo 7 on PS5 targets both 4K resolution and 60 frames per second, as also supports HDR.
