GRIME II Update 1.0.17551c Improves Combat And Platforming

Clover Bite has released a major update for GRIME II, version 1.0.17551c, addressing several critical progression bugs while significantly reworking combat and platforming systems. The patch ensures that players affected by issues such as missing boss rewards can now recover lost progression, marking an important step toward stabilizing the experience post launch.

Beyond fixes, the update introduces sweeping balance changes that enhance survivability, improve ability clarity, and make platforming sequences less punishing. It is a substantial overhaul that touches nearly every core system, with further improvements already planned for future updates.

  • Fixed Boss Rewards bug allowing players to reclaim missed rewards by revisiting boss arenas
  • Restored missing progression items automatically upon loading saves
  • Added protections to prevent bosses from dying unexpectedly due to bugs
  • Ensured lost boss rewards are now available in their respective arenas
  • Fixed Kankan wall blocker allowing players to break the wall from both sides in Upper Kankan

  • Increased attribute value scaling, especially for Health with reduced late game drop off

Platforming Improvements

  • Reworked Advanced Reform into Flawless Reform
    • Fully restores damage taken from platforming spikes after obtaining the ability
  • Reduced overall damage from platforming spikes
  • Increased activation range for Green Bounce Pads
  • Increased activation delay for Green Bounce Pads for better control
  • Extended immunity duration for Green Bounce Pads
  • Extended Grasphook immunity to reduce post activation damage
  • Improved slide immunity behavior

Other Fixes And Improvements

  • Added new sound effects across menus, weapons, and environmental interactions
  • Added option to disable Low Force Indicator in settings
  • Increased Dropot container capacity to 5 across all tiers
  • Prevented trader prices from increasing after purchases
  • Reduced some shop prices
  • Increased XP and Fragments pickup values
  • Implemented performance optimizations, particularly in Paint Reef
  • Added alternative entrance to Dregbourg from Reef
  • Fixed Growth menu not properly resetting attribute points
  • Removed misleading spaces in map artifacts
  • Lowered main menu music volume by default
  • Added temporary player protection after defeating bosses
  • Fixed environmental collider and spike zone issues
  • Updated AOE circle effect color for a creature from red to white
  • Prevented Forged Littles in Dregbourg from respawning
  • Fixed multiple issues with Projectile Grasp trait
  • Corrected various English text and grammar errors

GRIME II update 1.0.17551c is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X S following the game’s launch on March 31, 2026.
