Rockstar Games’ upcoming open world action-adventure game, GTA VI, may be available for pre-order sometime soon.
According to PlayStationSize on Twitter/X, who usually shares findings from database entries made to PlayStation servers, has revealed that GTA VI title IDs have recently been added to the PlayStation database, indicating that new information regarding the eagerly anticipated game, including pre-order details, may be announced soon.
The Twitter/X user further clarified that the duration between the addition of title IDs to the PlayStation database and the game actually becoming available for pre-order tends to vary from publisher to publisher. That said, they don’t believe fans will have to wait long until GTA VI pricing and pre-order details are made available.
Last month, two song artists teased deals with Rockstar Games, suggesting that their tracks may be featured on the GTA VI soundtrack. One of them is Australian electronic indie-pop project Panama. The band was recently lauded by a fan via a comment on social media, praising it for its songs on the GTA V and Forza Horizon 2 soundtracks. Panama responded by mentioning that there’s a song it wrote in collaboration with Poolside called “Back to Life” that will be featured on the GTA VI soundtrack. The comment has since been removed, but the track, can be heard on Poolside’s official YouTube channel.
Furthermore, during a recent Spotify podcast, American electronic music band Neon Indian teased that, after its previous involvement in making the music behind GTA Online’s introductory mission, its partnership with Rockstar Games is set to continue. “It ain’t the end of me and Rockstar Games,” said band vocalist Alan Palomo. “That’s all I’m going to say. I can’t discuss more.”
Grand Theft Auto VI is set for release on November 19, 2026, for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
