Multiple artists and songs featured on the soundtrack of Rockstar Games’ upcoming open world action-adventure game, GTA VI, have apparently been revealed.
Two song artists have recently teased deals with Rockstar Games (via videotechuk_ on Twitter/X), suggesting that their tracks may be featured on the GTA VI soundtrack. One of them is Australian electronic indie-pop project Panama. The band was recently lauded by a fan via a comment on social media, praising it for its songs on the GTA V and Forza Horizon 2 soundtracks. Panama responded by mentioning that there’s a song it wrote in collaboration with Poolside called “Back to Life” that will be featured on the GTA VI soundtrack. The comment has since been removed, but the track, can be heard on Poolside’s official YouTube channel.
Furthermore, during a recent Spotify podcast, American electronic music band Neon Indian teased that, after its previous involvement in making the music behind GTA Online’s introductory mission, its partnership with Rockstar Games is set to continue. “It ain’t the end of me and Rockstar Games,” said band vocalist Alan Palomo. “That’s all I’m going to say. I can’t discuss more.”
During an earlier podcast, Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier shared an update on the development of GTA VI, indicating that the game is not yet content complete, and that internally, its current release date isn’t 100% certain. The last information he received from sources familiar with the matter suggests that developers at Rockstar Games are still actively finalizing missions, adding new content, and making decisions about what ultimately makes it into the final title. As a result, Schreier believes it is difficult to say with confidence whether GTA VI will meet its November 19, 2026, release, noting that he doesn’t think anyone at Rockstar Games is 100% certain the studio will make that date. That said, he believes the current release date feels a bit more realistic than the prior windows of Fall 2025 and May 2026.
