GTA VI Title IDs Have Reportedly Been Removed From The PlayStation Store Database

Recently discovered Title IDs for Rockstar Games’ upcoming open-world action-adventure game, GTA VI, have reportedly been removed from the PlayStation Store database.

Twitter/X user yAmethxst (via videotechuk_) has reported that the recently discovered Title IDs for GTA VI have been “delisted” from the PlayStation Store database, as instructed by developer Rockstar Games. Certain people had been abusing the leaked IDs to add the game to their “Recently Played” list on their consoles though glitching methods.

After the removal of the aforementioned Title IDs, mention of GTA VI has been scrubbed from the “Recently Played” lists of all PlayStation users who previously had it appear on their profiles via the glitching method. This step doesn’t indicate a delay in the release of the upcoming open-world action-adventure game, and is merely the removal of a back-end exploit.

A few days prior, Twitter/X user PlayStationSize, who usually shares findings from database entries made to PlayStation servers, revealed that GTA VI title IDs were added to the PlayStation database. They clarified that the duration between the addition of title IDs to the PlayStation database and the corresponding game actually becoming available for pre-order tends to vary from publisher to publisher. That said, they don’t believe fans will have to wait long until GTA VI pricing and pre-order details are made available.

Last month, two song artists teased deals with Rockstar Games, suggesting that their tracks may be featured on the GTA VI soundtrack. One of them is Australian electronic indie-pop project Panama. The band was recently lauded by a fan via a comment on social media, mentioning that there’s a song it wrote in collaboration with Poolside called “Back to Life” that will be featured on the GTA VI soundtrack. The other one is American electronic music band Neon Indian, which teased on Spotify that its partnership with Rockstar Games is set to continue.

Grand Theft Auto VI is set for release on November 19, 2026, for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
