Helldivers 2 Into the Unjust 6.0.1 Adds Bastion Tank

Helldivers 2 Into the Unjust Update 6.0.1 deploys new battlefield hardware with the arrival of the Bastion Tank, introduces Chinese voice-over support, and launches the premium Siege Breakers Warbond. The update also expands cosmetic options, adds the War Horse armor set, and makes most emotes and victory poses interchangeable.

Alongside new content, the patch delivers wide-ranging balance changes to melee weapons, armor passives, SMGs, pistols, throwables, stratagems, and enemy behavior. Numerous stability improvements, crash fixes, gameplay corrections, and performance optimizations further strengthen the experience across all platforms.

Balance Adjustments

Melee Weapons and Armor Passives

  • Base melee attack damage increased by 50 percent
  • Reduced melee damage bonus on armor passives
    • Peak Physique: 100 percent to 40 percent
    • Rock Solid: 100 percent to 40 percent
    • Reinforced Epaulettes: 50 percent to 20 percent
  • Total melee damage with armor passive is now equal to or higher than before

SMGs and Pistols

  • Decreased sway modifier on multiple SMGs and pistols to 1
  • Close-range identity preserved through drag behavior

Weapon Function Direction Unification

  • Left direction now used for
    • Programmable ammo
    • Ammo types
    • Volley modes
    • Safe modes
    • Guided modes
  • Underbarrel switching not yet moved, but under consideration

Difficulty 9+

  • Increased enemy intensity across all factions
  • Largest impact on Automatons

Helldivers 2 launched on February 8, 2024, and the Into the Unjust expansion released on September 2, 2025. Update 6.0.1 is available as of February 3, 2026.
