Sony Interactive Entertainment and Arrowhead Game Studios’ cooperative third-person shooter, Helldivers 2, currently ranks as the top paid game on the Xbox Store.
The Xbox Store has been updated with new stats for top paid games, and it turns out that the Xbox Series X|S version of Helldivers 2 is the current top-seller on the platform.

Helldivers 2 is followed by NBA 2K26 Superstar Edition at #2, Helldivers 2 Super Citizen Edition at #3, EA Sports Madden NFL 26 at #4, NBA 2K26 Leave No Doubt Edition at #5, Ready or Not at #6, Subnautica at #7, LEGO Batman 2 at #8, EA Sports College Football 26 at #9, and LEGO Batman at #10.
It looks like fans of both the PlayStation and Xbox ecosystem have been excited about playing first-party titles from the other camp. Much like how Helldivers 2 has topped paid game charts on the Xbox Store, both Forza Horizon 5 and Gears of War: Reloaded topped the PlayStation best-seller charts at the time of their respective launch. Forza Horizon 5 went on to sell over 3 million copies on Sony Interactive Entertainment’s current-gen platform.
In July, 2025, Sony Interactive Entertainment officially announced that Helldivers 2 will make its way to the Xbox Series X and S. The move broadens the cooperative shooter’s audience beyond PlayStation and PC platforms. The announcement came as a significant departure from the company’s previous publishing practices. Historically, it has avoided porting a first-party intellectual properties directly to Xbox, despite expanding on PC and occasionally the Nintendo Switch. This shift reflects a potentially broader multiplatform strategy that Sony may be experimenting with, especially for live service titles that benefit from an expanded player base.
The Xbox Series X|S version of Sony Interactive Entertainment and Arrowhead Game Studios’ Helldivers 2 was released on August 26, 2025, with a price tag of 39.99 US Dollars. The cooperative third-person shooter has already built a healthy community on both PlayStation 5 and PC.
