Helldivers 2 Update 01.003.202 Fixes Weapon Crashes, DLC Bugs, and Emote Issues

The latest update for Helldivers 2, patch 01.003.202, brings a range of important fixes and improvements aimed at enhancing player experience. This includes crash fixes tied to explosions, enemy despawning, and weapon customization. The patch also resolves desynchronization issues and visual errors related to the LIFT-182 Warp Pack and laser turret behavior.

Weapons like the PLAS-45 EPOCH and AR-32 PACIFIER have received adjustments to boost functionality and responsiveness. Enemy navigation in urban zones has been corrected, while players affected by missing Warbond or DLC items can now access them. Finally, emote behavior has been refined, including a fix for the Manic Laughter audio bug aboard the ship.

Crash Fixes:

  • Fixed a crash caused by interacting with weapon customization
  • Fixed a crash occurring when enemies despawned after being killed
  • Fixed crash triggered by explosive deaths

Weapons, Stratagems, and Boosters:

  • PLAS-45 EPOCH: Spread decreased by 75 percent for improved accuracy
  • Laser turret now correctly displays heat buildup
  • LIFT-182 Warp Pack FX no longer appears in first-person mode
  • Disabled Warp Pack fields near shuttles to prevent escape attempts
  • Fixed desynchronization when exiting vehicles using the Warp Pack
  • AR-32 PACIFIER: Fixed delay in firing after reloading

Enemies:

  • Corrected navigation issues in cities where enemies were unable to traverse certain areas

Miscellaneous Fixes:

  • Resolved issue preventing access to certain DLC and Warbond items
  • Fixed Helldiver torso snapping during emotes near hellpod drops
  • Manic Laughter emote now plays audio properly while on the ship

Helldivers 2 is a cooperative third-person shooter developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It launched on February 8, 2024, for PlayStation 5 and Windows, and will release for Xbox Series X and S on August 26, 2025, with cross-platform support across all platforms.
