Hello Kitty Island Adventure has received a major new update on Apple Arcade, with additional platform releases planned in the near future. Update 2.14, titled Games and Grand Openings, expands City Town with new locations, activities, and customization options, while also introducing limited-time seasonal events across all platforms.
The update’s headline additions include the opening of Tuxedosam’s Elegant Emporium and a new arcade run by Badtz maru. These locations bring a variety of new interactions, including minigames, collectible rewards, and additional character-driven content. Players can also engage with new storylines and side quests, alongside expanded customization features such as saving outfits and accessing new furniture sets and character outfits.
Beyond City Town, the update introduces the Floral Fashion Frenzy event, which runs from April 14 to April 24. This seasonal activity centers on creating custom outfits using crafting materials like flowers, with players assisting Tuxedosam in setting up a themed gallery.
Another returning event, Imagination Celebration, begins April 2 and continues through May 5. The event places players in a fantasy-themed setting where they must help restore the Queendom of Friendship, encountering new characters and challenges along the way. Completing the associated content rewards players with themed cosmetic items, including outfits and furniture.
While the update is currently live on Apple Arcade, it is also scheduled to arrive on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. In addition, the City Town DLC is set to launch on April 16 for all platforms, with Apple Arcade users receiving it at no additional cost.
