Kojima Productions founder and game director Hideo Kojima is already working on his next game, likely referring to Physint.
During the latest episode of the Koji Pro radio broadcast (via Genki_JPN), the Death Stranding 2: On the Beach director shared that he is already working on his next game. As per him, its production will begin after the completion of Sam Porter Bridges’ upcoming adventure. Given that OD has been in production for some time now, Hideo Kojima is likely referring to his other upcoming title, Physint.

Kojima mentioned that it’s currently just him who is working on the next title. He mentioned that everyone at Kojima Productions dislikes it when he submits the project plans right around the completion of the previous game. “They are like ‘Huh’?'”, he said. “[We] thought you are taking a break, but you’re talking about the next [game].'”
The Kojima Productions game director also said that his staff is taking a short break after the release of Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. However, he added that they will continue to work on fixes and patches even after release, and that the 3D modellers will be working on character, boss, weapon and additional renders for an art book. As such, they will not able to rest much.
As for Kojima’s latest release, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, it was recently revealed that the game will feature expanded stealth options, including decoy holograms, silent takedowns and long-range gear. In addition, protagonist Sam Porter Bridges will have the opportunity to learn new skills, such as enhanced weapon fire-rates and reduced movement noise to help him stay hidden. Furthermore, players will encounter Mech soldiers, never before seen BTs, and new boss types that will push Sam to his limits. In order to equip themselves for such threats, players will be able to fabricate weapons such as machine guns, shotguns and grenade launchers.
