High on Life 2 is a comedic first-person shooter developed and published by Squanch Games, serving as a direct sequel to the original High on Life. Set five years after the events of the first game, the story follows the protagonist, now an established bounty hunter, as they uncover a sprawling intergalactic conspiracy tied to Rhea Pharmaceuticals and a scheme that threatens to turn humanity into prescription medication.

The sequel introduces several notable gameplay changes. Most prominent is the shift to a hub-based Metroidvania structure, encouraging exploration and backtracking across interconnected areas. Traversal has also been expanded with the addition of a skateboard, which can be used both for faster movement and during combat encounters. These changes aim to broaden the scope of the experience while retaining the series’ signature humor and talking weapon mechanics.

High on Life 2 is scheduled to launch on February 13, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A Nintendo Switch 2 version is planned to follow on April 20, 2026.
