High on Life 2 has been listed for the Nintendo Switch 2 on several European online retail stores, raising questions about a potential release. The listings were spotted across multiple outlets and suggest that the game would be published by Clear River Games and distributed as a Game Key Card. At the time of writing, neither Squanch Games nor the listed publisher has made an official announcement confirming a Switch 2 version.
The retailer listings include stores such as Netgames, Gameware, and World of Games, all of which reference a Nintendo Switch 2 edition of High on Life 2. These pages appear to follow a similar format and provide consistent details regarding the publisher and format, lending some credibility to the claims. Still, the situation should be treated cautiously, as retail listings can sometimes appear ahead of formal confirmation or be created in anticipation of future announcements that may not materialize.
Adding context to the speculation is the release history of the original High on Life. The first game did receive a Nintendo Switch port after its initial launch, and it was later updated with a version tailored for the Switch 2 over the summer. That precedent makes the possibility of a sequel appearing on the platform more plausible, even if nothing has been officially communicated yet. Even so, the lack of confirmation means the listings remain unofficial for now.
High on Life 2 itself was formally announced during the June 2025 Xbox Games Showcase. The sequel is scheduled to launch on February 13, 2026, for Xbox Series X and S, PlayStation 5, and PC, and will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on day one. The story takes place five years after the events of the original game and follows the returning bounty hunter as they confront a so called Big Pharma conspiracy. New traversal options, including a skateboarding system, are also part of the planned experience.
