If you’re playing Xbox Game Studios and Obsidian Entertainment’s survival action-adventure game, Grounded 2, you’ll need lingonberry chunks for crafting Lingonberry Leather. Here’s how you can get them.
Lingonberries are a valuable resource in Grounded 2, essential for crafting Lingonberry Leather. The latter is needed for upgrading tools like the Omni-Axe. While these berries are abundant once you know where to look, you’ll need the right preparation and strategy to gather them efficiently.
1. Prepare Your Gear
Before you head out, make sure you have a Tier 2 Omni-Axe, as you’ll need it to harvest Lingonberry Chunks after knocking berries down. Additionally, carry a ranged weapon with you, such as a bow, along with plenty of arrows. These will allow you to shoot the berries from high branches without the need to climb. Make sure to carry extra arrows, as some may get lost or glitch through the ground.
2. Locate Lingonberries
Lingonberries can be found northwest on the world map, near the Pine Hill fire pit and picnic table borders. Look for a backpack near roots that lead upward into the Pine Hill region. Follow these roots up in order to reach the area. Another reliable spot is inside the picnic table bush. Both locations contain dozens of Lingonberries hanging from branches.
3. Harvest Safely
Once inside the aforementioned berry region, be cautious of wolf spiders, as they tend to patrol these spots. To minimize risk, stay alert and use your bow to shoot berries down. They usually drop in pairs, which makes farming more efficient. Once they fall, use your Tier 2 Omni-Axe to chop them down and collect Lingonberry Chunks. You’ll need three chunks to craft one leather, so gather according to your requirements.
4. Craft Lingonberry Leather
When you return to your base, analyze a Lingonberry Chunk at an analyzer to unlock the crafting recipe. Then, head to a workbench, navigate to Resources, and craft Lingonberry Leather.
