Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is an action role-playing game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft.It was released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S in November, 2020. Set primarily between 872 and 878 AD, the game presents a Viking-themed narrative focused on their expansion into the British Isles. Players take on the role of Eivor Varinsdottir, a Viking warrior seeking to build a new settlement in England, who becomes entangled in the long-standing struggle between the Assassin Brotherhood, champions of freedom, and the Templar Order, who pursue peace through dominance. The story is framed by a modern-day plot set in the 21st century, where Layla Hassan relives Eivor’s memories in an effort to prevent a global catastrophe.
