Tempest Rising is a real-time strategy (RTS) title developed by Slipgate Ironworks and 2B Games, and published by 3D Realms and Knights Peak. It was released on April 17, 2025, exclusively for Windows PC. The game draws clear inspiration from classic RTS franchises of the 1990s and 2000s, particularly the Command & Conquer series. Players collect resources across the battlefield to establish and expand their bases, then assemble military forces to take on either human opponents or AI-controlled enemies. Base-building follows a familiar framework: players deploy a Mobile Construction Vehicle (MCV) to set up their headquarters and then construct various facilities.
