LEVEL5 has announced that Inazuma Eleven Victory Road has surpassed 800,000 copies sold worldwide, marking a strong commercial milestone for the long running football role playing game series. The figure reflects global digital sales across Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X and S, and PC via Steam.
The game launched globally as a digital-only release on November 14, 2025, and reached the 800,000 sales mark by January 13, 2026. According to LEVEL5, the title continues to attract players through its mix of story-driven content, series nostalgia, and ongoing post-launch support.
Inazuma Eleven Victory Road offers multiple modes designed to appeal to both new players and long-time fans. Story Mode is set 25 years after the original Inazuma Eleven and follows a new protagonist, Destin Billows, on a fresh adventure within the series universe. Chronicle Mode allows players to revisit the full history of the franchise, while Kizuna Station focuses on town building and online interaction with other players.
Post-launch support has played a notable role in maintaining momentum. In December 2025, roughly one month after release, LEVEL5 rolled out the first major free update, titled the Galaxy and LBX content pack. This update introduced new routes to Chronicle Mode and added a new character rarity aimed at expanding team-building options. A second free update is scheduled for January 28, which will open the Ares Route and include additional features.
LEVEL5 has stated that free content updates will continue over the long term. Planned additions include further route expansions and the official online tournament system, Victory Road, which will allow players to compete against others around the world.
As the latest mainline entry in the franchise, Inazuma Eleven Victory Road also features a large-scale roster, with Chronicle Mode enabling players to scout more than 5,400 characters from across past and current entries in the series. Combined with its online competitive elements, the game positions itself as both a retrospective celebration and a forward-looking evolution of the Inazuma Eleven formula.
